Andy who?
I’m a web & graphic designer located in Christchurch, New Zealand. I love music, cars, films, travelling, and design of course!
When I’m not at my computer, I’m generally out and about, with a sketchpad or camera in hand. I also play the guitar – rather poorly.
How I work
I design all my sites using a Macbook Pro, a sketchpad, and a lot of coffee.
To ensure consistent quality among websites, I make use of a five-step design process. I communicate with you the whole way from conception to delivery, tweaking as necessary to deliver you with a perfect final product.
I pride myself on top-notch communication and service. I see myself as a guide – it is my job to lead you towards the best solution for your business.
Education
I'm currently attending the School of Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury, majoring in Design and studying Marketing and Art History on the side.
I attended Hagley College starting in Year 10, after spending 9 years at St. Andrew’s College.
While at Hagley, I learned all about XHTML, CSS and the design process – the basis of all web design. I applied these skills to a freelance project for the first time when I was 17, a milestone which changed my life.
Having been bitten with the design bug, I took an extra year to study Design & Photography – getting Excellences across the board in NCEA.
Skills
I’m proficient in Adobe Photoshop, consider myself pretty good at XHTML and CSS, and I’m familiar with both Macs and PCs – having built two desktop computers myself.
